Winchester Idaho

There are so many wonderful landmarks, recreational activities, museums and seasonal events in Winchester Idaho and spilling into the region of North Central Idaho.

In Winchester, across the road from Winchester Lake, near the Winchester Lake State Park entrance positions this property close to recreation and just one mile from the Wolf Education and Research Center and nearby to the Museum of Winchester History. (Winchester was originally a Mill town… our history is fascinating. Guests and visitors to the area enjoy the museum.  )

Other things to do and places to see in the area include the Historic Museum at St. Gertrude’s Monastary, Dog Bark Park, the Lewis-Clark Trail, the Spalding Visitor Center and Museum (Nez Perce Indian History).   The Clearwater, Snake, Selway, Lochsa, and Salmon rivers all flow within the general region. This is magnificant country and is gaining notice by travelers endeavoring to see new places and to escape the crowds.
